A self-described “stunt spectacular”, this production toured the United States and was marketed to the family audience, especially those with young children. This show featured the flying and leaping Spider Man, the evil Green Goblin, mid-air fights, pyro, and the heavy use of video projection.

As the special effects designers, our role was to create up close and personal effects on and around the flying, diving, and tumbling stunt performers. It was also our responsibility to meet all code and pull all permit requirements in each city of theater.

• A tight budget and incorporating a variety of effects into a one-set show
• Design effects that could travel well and be setup and taken down quickly, be safe and run 3-5 shows per day
• All effects had to be fired wirelessly to allow for the extreme choreography and stunt work

• For a top ticket of $30 per ticket, the audience (parents and kids alike) saw a lot of show, a lot of technology and special effects like a movie or rock and roll concert
