Bank of Finland’s (“BoF”) Payment Council announced in end of October 2025 that it has concluded to handover the development and execution of domestic Rulebook and Governance Model of Real-Time Payments to Siirto Brand.’

Siirto Brand is a joint-venture between Nordea and OP Bank.

European Commission has decided to refer Finland and six other member states to Court of Justice of EU for failing to transpose and implement NPL-Directive. Other six member states being, Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Netherlands, Spain and Portugal. All other European Union’s member states have communicated their full transposition measures to EC.
